The Black Diamond Half-Marathon is back for its SECOND EDITION!! Hoping to build on the momentum from 2025, we're excited to bring this event to East Texas for 2026! Participate in either our 5K, 10K, or Half-Marathon distances and earn your CUSTOM 5 INCH FINISHER MEDAL. place TOP FOUR in your age group to win an ADDITIONAL MEDAL! All of our events are open to runners and walkers alike! We do not enforce strict cut-off times to ensure you have ample opportunity to finish whichever distance you sign up for. We also offer chip-timed results for all distances 5K and longer.

Age groups will be awarded four deep in the following divisions: M/F 0-4, M/F 5-9, M/F 10-14, M/F 15-19, M/F 20-24, M/F 25-29, M/F 30-34, M/F 35-39, M/F 40-44, M/F 45-49, M/F 50-54, M/F 55-59, M/F 60-64, M/F 65-69, M/F 70-74, M/F 75-79, M/F 80+.
Awards will also be given to our Male & Female Overall Winners, Male & Female Masters Winners (40+), and Male & Female Grand Masters Winners (60+)!
**AWARDS WILL BE DISTRIPUTED AT THE EVENT. WE WILL NOT SHIP AWARDS. PLEASE BE SURE TO CHECK ON YOUR RESULTS PRIOR TO LEAVING THE EVENT.**

**FREE** Kid's Dash
If your littles are excited to join in the experience, but aren't quite ready to tackle a full 5K, we highly recommend our KID'S DASH! This is a short 100–200-meter sprint prior to the start of the race to give our little ones the opportunity to experience the racing environment without the pressure of a seemingly long, endless course. Dashers run for FREE but can still purchase a t-shirt and a finisher medal as an add-on.
**NEW** 1 Mile Option
Run Different is adding a brand new 1 MILE OPTION to all of our 2026 events! This is perfect for those who are just dipping their toes into the racing world, as well as friends, families, and social groups that just want to go for a nice stroll. Our milers will still receive finisher medals and participation shirts; however, this will be an untimed event with no group awards.

Do you want to be a part of our Race-Day team with no long-term commitment? Do you want the opportunity to earn free race entries and not have to burn through your budget? Then volunteering is right for you! You pick whichever task best suits you, spend a couple hours performing that task, and BOOM! You're done! As a thank you, we will send you a code for a FREE RACE! It's that easy!

Diamond Wishes:
When traveling outside the United States with donations for other countries and islands off cruise ship ports, we work closely and directly with all government agencies, border patrol, customs officials, island and country businesses, schools, and foundations as well as political leaders to ensure all donations are accounted for and received at their designated locations and children in need. Run Different is excited to announce we will donate 25% of all profits and 100% of all donations to this church and they're amazing cause.
Encounter Church (Fate):
We believe strongly in sharing the Gospel of Jesus and doing our part to reach the lost and point them to Jesus. Encounter Church - Fate is the home church of Run Different and we are honored to donate 10% of all profits and 100% of all donations to this church and they're amazing cause.
