Hello Runners,

We’ve received several questions regarding the weather this week, and we wanted to take a moment to address a few important race details.

First and foremost, as many of you know, runner safety is always the top priority at E-Dragon Productions. We understand there is some uncertainty with the weather heading into race weekend, and we’ve taken several steps to ensure everyone can still have a safe and enjoyable experience.

First:
All runners will be using our newly designed course at Pearsall Park. You are welcome to review the route in advance. The majority of the course is on paved trails, which greatly reduces the risk of slipping or muddy conditions.

Second:
We are offering all registered runners the option to switch to a virtual race at no additional cost. This allows you to complete your race on your own timeframe.
To switch, simply email us at Edragontees@gmail.com and let us know. Please include your bib number in the email.

If you are out of town, let us know so we can ship your packet.
If you are local, you may pick up your packet at iRun during packet pickup.
Third:
If you decide to brave race day in person, we will be there to support you. The coldest temperatures are expected later in the day, and we’ll be ready with warm hot chocolate, fajitas, all your race swag, and our post-race celebration. We will also have our medics there to help each one and everyone of you if needed. 

To keep both runners and volunteers comfortable, we will operate: 

One fully supported main aid station that runners will pass three times on the loop
Two self-serve aid stations available along the route
We appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we navigate the weather together. Our goal is to give you a safe, fun, and memorable race experience no matter which option you choose.

We are so excited for IRUN to help us host the packet pick up at their store for our runners to have more time to pick up their packets. Please visit them and get everything you will need for race day. All questions about the race can be emailed to the race director or can be answered by our FAQ page online. Lastly if you still have a question please do not hesitate to call or text our business number 210-454-7000

Race Registration is still open in Person but will sell out when we reach 250 runners. 

All runners that sign up on Friday if registrations are still available will have to pick up at Race day packet pick up.

Hello winter dragon runners,
we are so excited for the 2026 event. We are so excited to host our event live at Pearsall park. We will have all our race ready for you to pick up. 

Below are some important questions you may have that we are happy to answer. 

What is the location for the event?
The event will be hosted back our beautiful Pearsall park. We are excited for you to challenge yourself back at our hills and beautiful trails in our south of San Antonio.

What do runners get when they register?
- All participants will receive our new coveted winter dragon Medal

- all participants will receive a chicken fajita meal after the race
- We will have a hoodies for all Half-Marathon registered runners with the winter dragon logo
- 10K registered runners will receive an awesome performance long sleeve shirt
-5k Registered runners will receive an awesome Performance Short sleeve shirt 
-Finishers in the Half marathon will receive our amazing finisher jackets. 
-Of course we will have our amazing sweet bread and hot chocolate available for runners based on first come first serve basis.

What type of terrain are we running?
We will be running on man made dirt roads that super soft and feel great on the legs. The 21k will have two loops for it, 10k is one loop and 5k is one loop.

Will you have waterstops?
We will have a total of 3 waterstops that you will be able to grab water from about 6 times on the course but please bring your own water bottles.

We will be having J&B Photography take photos at different points in the race for you to be able to download for free after the event is over.
