Run Back to the Future (Draft)

This event will have a 10K and Half Marathon option for participants to choose from. The Run Back to the Future will have participants starting the race in a 60's inspired atmosphere, as the course progresses the surrounding environment will change from one decade to the next. Runners are encouraged to dress from any decade and will have the opportunity to compete in a costume contest. Winners will receive $100 gift certificate. There will also be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in both age and gender brackets as well an overall category. 

Runners are asked to arrive to the start of the course at 8am and the race will start at 8:20am. Half Marathon and 10K will runners will line up together and start at the same time. The course will differ at mile 5, Half Marathon runners will follow the purple marks while 10K runners will follow the green marks. There will be volunteers directing the course path. 

There will be live music matching the decade that the runners are running through as well as a photo area and water stations. There will be porta pottys at the beginning and end of the race as well as stops at mile 3, 7, and 10.

The Back to the Future run will be raising money for the American Cancer Society. The American Cancer Society is a non-profit organization fighting to save lives and help people who are facing cancer. This year we are asking for runners to sign up as fundraisers for this cause! You can chose to fundraise individually or as a team. Teams of 6 get $10 off of registration each. Our goal is to raise  $20,000, while you navigate through this website please consider donating to help us reach our goal. You can donate on behalf of someone or stay anonymous, all donations at any level are greatly appreciated. If you chose to donate over $50 you will receive $20 off of your registration. 

There will be referral rewards set up for both races! Refer 5 people and you will receive $20 back from your registration fee!

The Run Back to the Future race will be on June 20th, 2025.
