Virtual races happen all the time, and allow you to join the fun without the crowds. You simply run the distance on your own, and report your results - we’ll send you instructions.

You understand that events are expensive, even when cancelled, and you want us to keep your registration fees to help cover our costs. We deeply appreciate your generosity and look forward to seeing you at an event soon.

Description

This winter marks our 11th annual series featuring races in the Madison area. We offer a variety of race options, including a 5K, 10k and an occasional half marathon snowshoe (weather dependent).  Come for a great workout, wintertime fun, and enjoy time on the trail with other adventurous runners.

We are back to a more 'standard' race experience for 2024 and need to rally the troops to get ready for Nationals right here in WI on February 10-11 in Eau Claire. Gather with your snowshoe friends or come and meet new ones. ALL LEVELS welcome and supported - walk, run, hike or do a mix. We just want to support everyone getting outside and enjoying the trails this winter.

  • A start/finish line and a well marked course
  • Giveaway item at each event
  • Warm hot chocolate or coffee after each run (and possibly more pending donations)

January 6 - Arborteum, Grady Tract, Madison, WI

January 27 - McCarthy Conservation Park, Cottage Grove/Sun Prairie. 5k/10k
