Significance:
The Mogadishu Mile is a testament to the bravery and determination of the soldiers involved, who persevered despite facing extreme adversity. It also serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by those who lost their lives in the battle.

Ongoing Commemoration:
The Mogadishu Mile is regularly commemorated through various events and initiatives, including memorial runs and ruck marches, to honor the fallen and remember the events of that day

A TEAM Experience

Working together to complete a task is an important part of anyone working in service to the people!  Challenges can arise at any time and create obstacles that can push even the most disciplined warrior's limits.  That is why in this years event, teams start together, overcome any challenge or obstacle together, and cross the line together.   It is this discipline to work together, that military and first responders have to embrace in order to be successful.
In this event, teams will be charged a deduction to their time, up to disqualification, for leaving any team member behind on the course.  This is an important part of this event, and must be adhered to!
