Race Categories
The Sunrise Kids Triathlon is designed to give young athletes a fun, safe, and confidence-building introduction to multisport racing. Participants will compete in age-appropriate divisions with distances tailored to their experience and ability.

☀️ Beams Division (Ages 6–11) Age Groups (6-7, 8-9, 10-11)
Perfect for first-time triathletes and younger racers, the Beams division emphasizes fun, achievement, and sportsmanship.

Distances:

🏊 Swim: 75 yards
🚴 Bike: 5K
🏃 Run: 0.7 mile
 
🌞 Rays Division (Ages 12–15) Age Groups (12-13, 14-15)
The Rays division provides a more challenging course for older youth athletes ready to test their endurance and racing skills.

Distances:

🏊 Swim: 175 yards
🚴 Bike: 10K
🏃 Run: 1.55 miles
 
Whether your athlete is crossing their very first finish line or returning for another season, the Sunrise Kids Triathlon is all about building confidence, encouraging healthy lifestyles, and celebrating every accomplishment. Every participant will receive a finisher medal and the chance to experience the excitement of swimming, biking, and running in a supportive, family-friendly environment.
