Rocket Kidz Triathlon

Welcome to our fourth year in Zachary! We are excited that this year's race will again be held at the Zachary YMCA in the Americana Subdivision. This venue is perfect for our Kidz race and we are thrilled with how welcoming Zachary, the Y and Americana have been! 

Kidz is for racers ages 6-14 yrs old (based on their age on RACE DAY). Your child's age tells you what division they race in (Sputnik/Apollo/Saturn) and their division tells you how far they have to go to complete each leg of the race. 

We use AGE ON RACE DAY TO DETERMINE DIVISIONS.

Cancellation/Refund Policy: NO REFUNDS. NO TRANSFERS. We purchase supplies/goodies for this race well in advance of the event and cannot offer refunds. Racers cannot give their race entries to another person to race. All RKF events benefit the Foundation, so even if you cannot race your entry fees are going to fantastic programming!

This race will not be rescheduled. The cancellation of this event is at the discretion of race directors. Cancellation will occur if thunder or lightning is present in the area. We will do everything in our power to allow the event to take place, but we will not compromise the safety of our little racers. 

Race Distances:

Falcon- 3-5 yrs old

25yd swim / .35 mile bike / .15 mile run

Beginner/Sputnik - 6-7 yrs old

50yd swim / 1 mile bike / 0.6 mile run

​

Apollo - 8-10 yrs old

100yd swim / 2 mile bike / 0.6 mile run

​

Saturn - 11-14 yrs old

150yd swim / 4 mile bike / 1.2 mile run

*No training wheels or floaties allowed except for Falcons and beginner Sputniks.
