A3 Performance Swim Course: The swim will take place in Lac La Belle. Athletes will start at City Beach and complete their respective swim courses. Sprint athletes will complete one clockwise lap around the southernmost two orange corner buoys before returning to City Beach to exit the water. Olympic and Half Iron Athletes will complete two clockwise laps around their respective swim buoys (yellow and orange for Olympic distance; orange for Half Iron). Please be sure to consult the SWIM MAP for details on your respective swim course. Water temperatures at the end of July are typically mid-70's making the race wet suit legal. We use USAT guidelines to determine final wetsuit eligibility -- this decision will be made race week. SWIM MAP

VisitOcon.org Bike Course: The bike course transverses the rolling ground moraine landscape northwest of Oconomowoc. All athletes will follow the same route until about mile 7 when sprint athletes will split off to the west. Half Iron and olympic athletes will continue together until about mile 15 when Olympic athletes will split off to the south with the half iron athletes continuing west. At this point, the olympic course heads south and east back into Oconomowoc. The half iron continues west before coming back east to rejoin the olympic course. The Olympic and Half Iron athletes will join back with sprint athletes at Branch Rd. All athletes can expect scenic country views, rolling hills, and a few not so rolling hills that will definitely get the legs burning and your heart rates jumping! We are also very fortunate that many of the roads on our course have been recently repaved, providing a smooth and fast ride. SPRINT BIKE MAP  |  OLYMPIC BIKE MAP  |  HALF IRON BIKE MAP

Bike Aid Station: Half iron athletes will pass an aid station on course at about miles 17 and 41. The aid station will have bottles of water and gatorade sports bottles. There will also be a bathroom located at the aid station. There is no aid station on the olympic or sprint bike course -- athletes should plan to bring their own aid.

Rogan's Shoes Run Course: The run course takes athletes out west on Wisconsin Avenue and runs through neighborhoods on the southern shore of Lac la Belle. This is an out and back course with sprint distance athletes turning at mile 1.55, Olympic runners turning at mile 3.1 and Half Iron runners turning a little later down the road. Sprint and Olympic runners will complete one out and back while Half Iron runners will complete two out and backs. Runners will finish their race by running through the finisher shoot near city beach. SPRINT RUN MAP  |  OLYMPIC RUN MAP  |  HALF IRON RUN MAP

Aid Stations: There are three aid stations on course that all runners will pass multiple times depending on the distance they are running. The following table list the approximate mile marker for the aid stations for each run distance. Aid is also available in transition and at the finish line.
