Race FAQ
There is ample parking at the Dublin Community Recreation Center (5600 Post Rd, map and directions below). The race will be starting/finishing nearest the NW parking lot.
- 8:00 AM - Race day bib and shirt pickup will begin - PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION!
- 9:00 AM - The Leftover Run is underway!
- 9:01 AM - Any remaining t-shirts are now up for sale
There will be NO EARLY PACKET PICKUP FOR THIS RACE! All race number pickup and shirt choosing will be done before the event, starting at 8:00 AM. Shirt and medal choosing will continue after the race until our final participant gets their medal.
There are no restrooms on the course, but there are indoor restrooms inside the Dublin Community Recreation Center, <100 meters from the start line.
We'll have plenty of shirts for everyone registered and then some. If you would like to go home with some additional swag, we're here to help. After everyone registered has had a chance to collect the one shirt included with their registration (ie, once the race starts), we will sell all remaining shirts. You can purchase 1-5 additional shirts for a total of $5, 6-10 additional shirts for $10, and so on. All monies paid for additional shirts will benefit the Columbus Running Company Charity Fund.
The Leftover Run will begin at 900a sharp!
No way! While we think there are some nice shirts that we'll be including in the Leftover Run, we don't want to force anyone to take things they don't need or want. If you just want to treat this as an opportunity to run an event with the family after some early morning Black Friday shopping, we completely understand! The same goes for the medals as you finish. If you don't want any of them, we won't make you take one.
Not all of them, but we can tell you that there are leftover shirts and medals from most of this year's CRC Signature Series races (except the Columbus 10K), and a number of other events the CRC has produced or worked with over recent years.
We do still have event production costs associated with putting on the Leftover Run, so we need to be sure those are covered. Anything we have, umm... left over (sorry, we had to) after we pay our bills for the race will be included in the donation check to the Columbus Running Company Charity Fund.
We will provide a curated "leftover" top finisher prize pack for the top overall non-binary, female, and male finishers. Additionally, the race will be chip-timed on a measured and accurate course, so you can confidently use any time you run as a PR if you're strong enough to get one the day after Thanksgiving.
This is pretty much a no-frills event. We'll have bottled water at the finish line. There will be no on-course water station. If you desire water during your 5K trek, please plan to bring your own personal hydration.
Headphones and running strollers are okay, but running with pets is prohibited due to our insurance restrictions.
Yes, our race is limited to 200 people. There is no waiting list, but participant transfers are possible through 11:59 PM on Thanksgiving Day. Our race typically sells out prior to Thanksgiving.
