Description
The Tri Up North Triathlons are bike, paddle, run triathlons in Frankfort, Michigan. Located on Betsie Bay and the Western shore of Lake Michigan, Frankfort is the perfect location for a triathlon. 2015 was the inaugural year for the 10 mile Classic event which was specifically geared toward beginners and those looking for a little motivation to become more active. For 2016 we're introducing the 22 mile Challenger Course which is a competitive course for experienced athletes and relay teams. Our goal is to engage young people, families and individuals to make healthy choices and live an active lifestyle so everyone can enjoy all that Northern Michigan has to offer. Proceeds from the event are committeed to youth extra curricular actvities with this years focus on Benzie Central High Schools "Back the Track" which is replacment of the schools track.
