Summer Trail Fest Ultra (STFU) – 50 Mile, 50K, Half Marathon, & 5 Mile
Yes, we know what it stands for. STFU is the perfect summer trail race, whether you’re chasing your first finish or a new PR. The course at Sleepy Hollow State Park is 90% scenic, runnable trail with generous cutoff times. You’ll find well-stocked aid stations, clear course markings, and a supportive trail community. The 50K, Half, & 5 Mile also feature Ruck Divisions!
After your race, head to the beach and refuel—Trivium will be on the grill serving burgers, hot dogs, and sides for all participants. New in 2026: Spectators can join the celebration with a picnic ticket! And if you’ve run Winter Trail Fest, don’t forget—your STFU and WTF medals magnetically connect. Need a little push? Quit the excuses and STFU & Run!
ULTRA Things Are Happening at STFU
Summer Trail Fest ULTRA is expanding. A new 50 Mile distance is joining the lineup in 2026, building on everything runners already love about STFU—flowy trails, generous cutoffs, well-stocked aid stations with food picked by ultra runners for ultra runners, and a race-day experience designed to keep you moving and supported. The looped course format allows runners to access drop bags during the race and see family and friends multiple times, making this an approachable, well-supported option for a first 50 Mile attempt as well as a solid challenge for experienced ultra runners.

Race Singlet

Course Cut Offs
- The 50 Mile course is open 6:00 am - 6:45 pm (12 hours, 45 minutes). 15:18/mile average pace. Hard cutoffs at Aid Station 6 TBA.
- The 50K course is open 7:30 am - 6:45 pm (11 hours, 15 minutes). 21:43/mile average pace. 12:40 pm hard cutoff at mile 15.5, Aid Station 6.
- The 50K Ruck course is open 6:30 am - 6:45 pm (12 hours, 15 minutes). 23:39/mile average pace. 12:40 pm hard cutoff at mile 15.5, Aid Station 6.
- The Half Marathon course is open 7:30 am - 6:45 pm (11 hours, 15 minutes). 51:31/mile average pace.
- The 5 Mile course is open 8:00 am - 6:45 pm (10 hours, 45 minutes). Generous cutoff—plenty of time to finish!
