Description
HANOVER HARVEST FESTIVAL 5K:
Kick off the 2025 Hanover Harvest Festival with the annual 5K! You'll get to run or walk a quaint course passing by some of Hanover's key locations including City Hall, the Hanover Historical Society, near the Crow River, River Inn and various neighborhoods and parks. All participants will receive a swag bag filled with fun items, snacks and a 2025 Hanover Harvest Festival 5K t-shirt**. Chip timing will be provided and prizes will be awarded to the winners! Lace up those running shoes and join us on August 2nd at 8:00 am!
No need to worry about the construction in Hanover! This year's 5K route is slightly different than years past to completely avoid all construction!
**Must register by July 18th to guarantee receiving a t-shirt (for both the 5K and Kids Fun Run).
KIDS FUN RUN:
This year the kids run will take place on the lawn near the arbor at City Hall. Start time is 9:30 am on August 2nd. Kids run a short race and parents can take pictures as they go. All participants will receive a t-shirt* and medal upon completion!

Race Day Information
Packet Pick-up
Packet pick-up will be available at Hanover City Hall the night before the race: Friday August 1st from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. We encourage all participants to pick up their packet containing their bib, t-shirt and swag bag to avoid congestion the morning of the race. As an alternative, packet pick up will be available if needed on race day beginning at 7:00 am and will close promptly at 7:45 am.
Course Route
The race will begin at Hanover City Hall and proceed down River Rd. past the Historical Society before wrapping into Hanover neighborhoods. Runners will end up back on River Rd. passing the River Inn and will end at the historic bridge.
This is a new route this year designed to avoid all road construction taking place on County Rd. 19.
Prizes
Medals and gift cards will be awarded to the top 3 overall men and women as well as for the winner in the age group 50+, both men and women.
Results
The race will be based off a whistle start and chip finish. Race time will be displayed on a digital clock. Results will be posted on this site after the race. Prizes will be distributed and a photo of the top three men, top three women and first place man and first place woman will be taken immediately following the race.
