Welcome to The Frozen Stick Trail Run!
The Frozen Stick is a stand alone event and also the FINALIE to the Stick Season Trail Run Series.
Register for the series and you are registered for this as well, or just run this one.
Using the same route of discontinued Frozen Feet, Rockinator Racing keeps the 15 year tradition alive! With 2 distance options, the Frozen Stick starts at LaSalle Middle School, heads up and through beautiful Bluffview, Rock Hollow and Zombie Trails. Passing the aid and cheering stations twice to return to the warm racers village indoor at the school for podiums, awards, finisher medals, music, snacks and swag! Did Somebody say Pizza???
All participants recieve a Rockinator Racing Neck Buff, Drinks, Snacks, Chip timed, Number bib, a fully marked course, instant results, free downloadable photos, and hey, this is something fun to do in Stick Season! Consider siging up for the Stick Season series for 4 other fun runs, a great discount and other included goodies. (info below)
Extra Awards and 1,2,3 podiums for the top 3 Male/Female 5 Mile and 13.1 overall winners in the 10 year age groups.
We also provide Free on course tracking! Your friends and family can follow you (and you can follow others) on the course in real time. Most importantly, we can follow you back in operations to see where you are and you can easily communicate with us if you need Sag.

The Starting to Freeze 5 Mile Route
The Flattest and Fastest of the routes. Start at LaSalle School, take the asphalt path through Glencoe onto the Al Foster through the Aid Station, up the Zombie Connector and back down Rock Hollow through the Aid Station back to Racers Village inside the warm building for Awards, Pizza Colas and Snacks. 4 miles of flats with 1 mile of single track up the Bluffview Lolipop with an aid station at the bottom you pass twice!
The FROZEN STICK Finalie Half Marathon Route
Also starting at LaSalle Middle School and heading into and UP, Bluff View, UP Rock Hollow and DOWN East Zombie, this one will be a BEAST and a separate stand alone Frozen Stick race frozen in time. Expect Stick Season participants at this one battling it out on course with you for overall series points! Finalie Podiums, Swag and Stick Season award ceremonies to follow, indoor where its nice and warm.
ALL participant receive the ROCKINATOR RACING Neck Buff, T shirt and Finishers medal!
Long Sleeve T included with either race!
Commemorative long sleeve Frozen Stick shirt guaranteed to those that register by 1-10 until supplies run out.
Although we will have other options available, like the classic black Rockinator Racing T as no one leaves empty handed!
