Honoring Joe Torre
A Leader On the Field and an Advocate for Families
Joe Torre is a Cardinals and National Baseball Hall of Famer, longtime Major League Baseball manager and respected leader both on and off the field. Beyond his achievements in baseball, Torre has devoted his life to advocating for children and families.
In 2002, Joe Torre and his wife, Ali, founded Safe At Home, a nonprofit organization focused on preventing domestic violence and abuse through education. Safe At Home works with schools and communities nationwide to teach young people the values of respect, teamwork and positive leadership — helping build safer homes and stronger communities The Cardinals will continue their partnership with Joe Torre Safe At Home during the upcoming season to provide resources to traumatized youth to empower them to live healthy lives free of violence.
