Ride Description:

The ride will start at Vista Point Park in Pittsboro and will follow the race course into Holly Springs, and then continue on the race course into downtown Raleigh and back to Clouds Brewing. Weather permitting, the ride course will be marked prior to the ride. Cue sheets will be available at check-in on Sunday morning.

Please note: Once you are on the bike course there is NO ride support! (Be sure to have tire change kits, cell phone, and some cash or credit card, just in case). There are several convenience stores along the route to pick up water or other items. There are NO special traffic controls in place for this ride. Please follow all traffic laws and be careful at major intersections.

Ride Registration Information:
IOSTC Members: $35.00 before April 12st, $45 April 13st till close
Non Club members: $45.00 before April 12st, $55 April 13st till close
Registration will close at 5PM on April 15th

IOSTC members, the discount code needed to get club member price is located in the members only area on our Race Reach page. You must be a 2016 registered member to access this discount code.

Ride is limited to the first 48 riders to register. This ride will go rain or shine and there are NO REFUNDS, unless IOSTC cancels the ride due to severe weather conditions deeming the ride unsafe to conduct.

Due to the point-to-point nature of this ride, it will be necessary to drop your bike off no later than 5PM Saturday, April 16th. If you wish to drop your bike off on Friday that option is available and would be greatly appreciated. Bikes will be carefully packed on Saturday and will be transported out to the ride start point on Sunday morning. The bikes will be unpacked prior to your arrival at the start point and ready to ride. We will have a bike mechanic on hand at the start point to address any minor bike issues that may arise.

7:30AM-8:00AM: Check-in (All riders need to be checked-in by 8:00AM)
8:00AM-8:30AM: Pre ride briefing with Q&A session
8:30AM: Departure to Jordan Lake (approximate travel time 40-45 Minutes)
9:30AM: Ride starts when you pick up your bike (at your own pace)

Wristbands will be given to each rider at check-in. You will need this to claim your bike at the start point of the ride and it’s also your free beer ticket!

Bags will be available at the start of the course if you need to shed clothing. The bags will be returned to you at Clouds Brewing. No valuables, please.
