The Lake Summit 10 Mile is the kind of road race that feels like a scenic getaway with a start line. Smooth miles, lake air, and mountain backdrops that make you forget you’re working… until your legs remind you around mile eight. 🏞️🏃♀️
You’ll kick things off with a personalized custom race bib, and we’ll have chip timing with live results and splits so every mile is tracked clean and accurate. When you roll into the finish, you’ll earn a custom finisher medal to commemorate your lakeside journey, plus a custom race tattoo for that summit swagger you can wear all weekend. 🏅🎫⏱️🧼
Expect event-themed giveaways packed with thoughtfully curated goodies, a race sticker perfect for your car, cooler, or water bottle, and complimentary professional race photos that capture you in action with the mountains showing off in the background. 🎁🚐📸

Join us for a breathtaking 10-mile run around the sparkling shores of Lake Summit, nestled in the heart of the Southern Appalachian Mountains, just south of historic Flat Rock, NC. This scenic course weaves along packed dirt roads through the quiet community of Tuxedo, offering runners a peaceful, nature-filled experience you won’t soon forget.
🌄 What to Expect
As you circle the lake in a counter-clockwise direction, you’ll take in stunning views of clear blue waters, charming lakefront homes, and the rolling backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains, dressed in vibrant fall foliage. With 90% of the course on well-maintained gravel roads, it’s the perfect mix of beauty and challenge. A single short hill adds just enough elevation to keep things interesting — total elevation gain is approximately 575 feet.
