Event Description
The Legwork for Lungs 5K Run and Mile Walk is hosting their 9th annual event that will take place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, featuring our 5k run, 1-mile fitness walk, raffles, and games. Food, drinks, music, prizes, shirts, and medals will be provided! This event is held to raise funds for lung cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center during Lung Cancer Awareness Month.
T-shirts are given for free to the first 50 early 5K registrants, and will be available for purchase as well.

Upon arrival, please check in at the pavilion.

9:45AM: 1Mi-Walk Check-In Ends
10AM: 1Mi-Walk Starts
10:45AM: 5K Check-In Ends
11AM: 5K Starts
12AM: Awards Ceremony
Awards
Awards will be given to the three overall top male and female finishers and to the top finishers in every age bracket:
14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & Over

Parking
Parking is available in the lot next to the pavilion or in parking permitted areas within the park.
Course Map
Volunteers, cones, and arrows will be present during the race to guide runners!
