Get race ready for Lake Placid and achieve your Ironman or 70.3 dreams with our structured 3 day training camp.

What's included in the camp?
Our camp is designed for those training for the Lake Placid Ironman, or any late summer long-course triathlons. All abilities are encouraged to attend.

  • Luxury lodging right next to the IMLP course, with a full kitchen available or you can book your own separate lodging or camp on site
  • Coached daily group workouts (swim, bike and run) with distances based on goal race distance and experience level
  • On-the-bike skills work to help you get more comfortable with cornering and descending
  • Delicious and healthy chef prepared team meals (3 dinners, 2 lunches), snacks. Some meals will be OYO. You will not go hungry at camp!
  • On-course supported aid station and sag wagon
  • Daily lectures by BonkWerx coaches on using power meters (run and bike!), race day pacing, nutrition, and more!
  • Demonstrations on performance and metabolic testing (RMR and Fitness Testing)
  • Camp swag from team sponsors
  • Use of camp compression recovery boots (as available)
  • Refrigerator, coffee maker and full kitchen available for your own needs
  • COVID safety protocols will be implemented and followed throughout camp.

Head Coach & Founder - Noel Bonk

Coach Noel Bonk is the Founder/Owner of BonkWerx Endurance Sports. He has coached athletes from the beginner stages through experienced Ironman athletes as well as National/International ITU athletes. BonkWerx athletes have competed at USA Triathlon Nationals, USA Cycling Nationals, ITU Worlds, and dozens of full and half Ironman races throughout the world, as well as the Boston Marathon and NYC Marathon. Noel is a USA Cycling Level 1 Elite Coach, USA Triathlon Coach, Stryd Power Coach, and Training Peaks Level II Coach.  Noel is a husband, father of four children (plus 2 dogs), a business owner, and an athlete who knows firsthand the demands that athletes face today when balancing training and life. He believes that life-long improvements in fitness can be made at any age through consistency, scientifically applied training, and open communications.

Refund Policy

In the event that the participant needs to cancel, full refunds (minus online registration processing fees) are available until February 1st, 2022.
50% Refund (minus processing fees) by April 30th, 2022. 

No refunds after May 1, 2022.

At any time you may transfer or defer your camp registration to another athlete with prior approval of the Head Coach. If we can re-sell your spot, we will issue at our discretion, a full refund (again minus any processing fees).
In the event that the training camp must be canceled due to extenuating circumstances, participants will be given a refund (minus any processing fees) or the option to defer to the following year.
