• Participants competing in the Non-Binary division are not eligible for age group awards or prize money.

Age Group Awards

• Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in each age division for the 5 Mile race.

• No age group awards will be given for the 2 Mile race.

• Participants competing in the Non-Binary division are not eligible for age group awards.

Age divisions are:

12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and up.

Prize Money

Think you’ve got what it takes to set a new record?

Race Day Events offers a cash prize for anyone who breaks the 5 Mile course record at the New Year’s Day Dash! 

If no one beats the time, the prize rolls over and grows for the next year just to keep things interesting.

This year’s cash prizes are $500 for breaking the male course record and $600 for breaking the female course record.
