Our goal is to support members of our city while highlighting east side community partners!
5th Annual Run to Church on July 5th. 2026
Race begins at 8:30AM.
The 5K Run/Walk will begin & end at Faith Lutheran Church, in Whitehall.
All proceeds from this event will be used to create an Emergency Food Initiative with the City of Whitehall.
The 5K Run/Walk course will be mostly on neighborhood roads with a beginning loop around Lamby Lane Park. The course is flat and on paved surfaces.
Race Day Perks
Before the race enjoy wonderful coffee provided by Florin Coffee and afterward stay for the post race hotdogs courtesy of Uncle Will's Wagon.
Pastries and treats are available for runners, walkers, watchers, and all visitors.
Race T-shirt
Each participant will receive a race shirt. If you register for the race after 7/1/2026, shirts and/or your shirt size will not be guaranteed. Please register early.
Help us fund an Emergency Food Initiative for the City of Whitehall!
All proceeds from this year's Run To Church 5k will be used as the seed money to develop an Emergency Food Initiative in the City of Whitehall!
This initiative will include
+ 650–850 emergency food bags produced and distributed in Year 1
+ A network of 5–6 satellite distribution sites established across Whitehall
+ Provide critical support to residents and families in need by filling an existing gap when local food pantries are closed
We are blessed to work with the Department of Neighborhoods to provide for neighbors when need arises.
It takes a village to be a village and we love the village we share here in the City of Whitehall.
Packet Pick-up and Race Day Registration
Packet pick-up will happen on RACE DAY at Faith Lutheran Church starting at 7:00AM. There will be race day registration, but we encourage everyone to register in advance so we know how many participants we will have.
Awards and Age Groups
Finisher woodles will be given to all upon completion of the course.
Top male and female overall finishers will receive gift bags & coupon for a free pair of shoes from Calzuro Shoes.
Age Groups:
- 19 and under
- 20-29
- 30-39
- 40-49
- 50-59
- 60 and above
Top finishers, female and male, will be recognized in the results.
