What is Christmas in the Valley?
Christmas in the Valley is a family fun event brought to you by the Valley City Community Group each year. The holiday market has a little something for everyone! Start the day with the Fabulous 5K and Family fun walk where every registrant receives a cozy race hoodie and a medal, shop over 70 vendors, help crown the winner of the chili cook off with your vote, and there are plenty activities for the kiddos!
Start this festive day right with the Christmas in the Valley 5K! The 5K run or Family Fun Walk is stroller and dog friendly so grab the family and your favorite friend and dash through a winter wonderland to make your holiday brighter than ever!!
This premier event is December 14th 2025! The race will kick off downtown Valley City at 10AM.
Registrations after December 1, 2025 are not guaranteed a shirt on race day. If your size is not available, an order may be placed after race day.

Packet Pick-up
Packet pickup is at the Liverpool Township Community Center located at 6801 School Street, Valley City, OH, 44280. Pick up hours are from 4-7PM on Thursday Dec 11th.
If you can’t make it this evening you can get pick everything up when you check in on Sunday morning between 8:30 and 9:45 at the Valley City Fire Station, located at 6800 Center Rd. Valley City, Ohio 44280

The Family Fun Walk is a great stroll through Mill Stream Park! Start and finsh in downtown Valley City and take in the amazing holiday spirit!
Your 5K course is definitely worth the entry! This course starts and finishes in beautiful Valley City and leads you on a fabulous adventure through Mill Stream Park and the Barn Run development! This course will not disapoint! Stick around for winner awards and the holiday festivities!
