FROZEN FEET 2026
It's tough to get moving in the winter, so you're invited to join our annual Frozen Feet Challenge! Beginning Sunday, February 1st, bundle up and get outside to walk, run, or hike, at least one mile per day every day in February! No treadmills allowed—the Oklahoma weather adds an extra element to this challenge!
Want even more fun? Create or join a Frozen Feet team! Get your family and friends involved and keep moving through the winter together. Accountability makes everyone better and you'll have a blast with your crew!
Registration for Frozen Feet closes at 11:59PM on February 1st—make sure you sign up so you don't miss out!
FROZEN FEET STARTS IN:
SUBMIT YOUR DAILY RESULTS
The Frozen Feet challenge is a virtual event every day for 28 days. Submit your results each day just as you would for a virtual race!
- Click "Find a participant" in the header bar.
- Type in your name/the name of the person you are recording results for.
- Click "More Details" button next to your name.
- Type in how many miles you ran, walked, jogged, or hiked (must be at least one mile). Comments are optional!
- Click "Submit Activity" button.
Congratulations! You are one day closer to completing the Frozen Feet challenge!
2026 Prize
Okay, we know everyone needs motivation. This year's prize is a premium insulated mug for warm or cold drinks. Celebrate your accomplishment all year!
FROZEN FEET FAQS
WHERE DO I RUN MY MILE? CAN I DO ANOTHER ACTIVITY TO GET MY MILE?
Run, walk, hike, or jog anywhere at any time that works for you as long as you get at least one complete mile every day! You can't do another activity (biking, rowing, etc.) to get your mile for this challenge.
CAN I SPLIT MY MILE UP OR BANK MILES TO USE ON OTHER DAYS?
Nope. Do it in one effort!
WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS BAD?
There may be a day that is just too treacherous (3 feet of snow and -20 degrees) to get outside. In that case, you will be notified that the day is a "mulligan." Otherwise, bad weather is part of the challenge and assume it's a go! We're happy to help you find the perfect gear to stay comfortable and warm all Frozen Feet challenge long—come see us in stores in OKC, Edmond, or Norman, or shop us online any time.
WHAT IF I FORGET TO LOG MY MILES?
You're out. That's part of the responsibility of the challenge, too.
WHAT IF SOMEONE CHEATS?
This is the honor system-you can only control you!
CAN I GET A SICK DAY?
No sick days are given. Sorry, that's also part of the challenge. (But don't be a martyr, please!)
DO YOU HAVE TO LIVE IN OKLAHOMA TO PARTICIPATE?
Not at all! We'd love to spread Frozen Feet far and wide. Get your friends and family in other parts of the world involved-it will help with accountability! Please note: no shipping or delivery available for the finisher award but you can have a friend or family pick up your prize.
MY FRIEND HAS A TEAM. HOW DO I JOIN THEM?
If you know the name of the team, simply click the drop arrow when prompted as to whether you'd like to join a team during the registration process.
Scroll down and select the team from the list and complete your registration. It's that easy!
CAN I INVITE PEOPLE TO MY TEAM OR ADD THEM IF THEY'VE ALREADY REGISTERED?
Absolutely! Follow these steps to send an invitation to a friend or to add them to your team if they've already registered.
- Sign into your RunSignUp.com using your email and password.
- Click "Profile" in the upper right of the browser and locate the tabs below your personal information.
- Select the "Upcoming Events" tab which will show Frozen Feet when you have registered.
- Click the "Manage Registration" from the options on the right.
- Scroll to the bottom of your registration information and find "Group/Team."
- Click your team name which will take you to your team management page.
- You can share your team with a friend who has not yet registered by clicking "Copy Share Link" on the right. Simply send that link to your friends and family.
- You can scroll down to see all currently registered members of your team.
- You can also add a friend to your team who has already registered by clicking the "Add Member" button at the bottom.
- You can search all current registrations by first or last name or email address.
- When you find your friend, simply click the check box and the "Add Member" button.
- You'll be taken back to your Team Management Page where you can now see your friend in your "Group Members."
