LWWDS Summer Solstice 1-Mile Walk & Resource Fair for Dementia Awareness

Join us on Saturday, June 21, 2025, for our Summer Solstice 1-Mile Walk & Resource Fair.

We’re kicking off the day with a 1-mile walk to raise awareness about dementia and support our mission to close the resource gap here in Sisters. Whether you’re joining us for the walk or coming just for the fair, there’s something for everyone!

Our Resource Fair will be open before, during, and after the walk giving walkers and attendees the chance to visit vendor tables, connect with organizations, and explore helpful products and services at any time. If you arrive early, you can browse the fair before the walk begins. If walking isn’t part of your plans, you’re invited to come enjoy the Resource Fair and support the cause!

We’ll be hosting over 30 vendors, agencies, and organizations that specialize in supporting individuals living with dementia (PLWD), care partners, families and friends. From helpful services to dementia-friendly products, you’ll have the opportunity to gather resources, ask questions, and build connections with those who are here to help.

At Living Well With Dementia Sisters (LWWDS), we empower those living with dementia and their care partners. Our community-driven mission is to expand access to local resources, offer educational events and support groups, and advocate for a more dementia-friendly Sisters community. Together, we are making sure no one faces dementia alone.
