Flat, fast, and built for speed. This scenic course runs primarily along the paved section of the Ernst Trail, with a brief stretch on Mercer Pike Road. Following a historic rail line through the lush bottomlands of the French Creek Valley, the trail immerses runners in a vibrant mix of landscapes—open meadows, marshes, woodlands, and hemlock thickets. The smooth surface and gentle grade make it ideal for chasing personal bests while still enjoying the natural beauty around you.
