Event Maps
The Marathon is 6 laps around our course. 2500 feet of vertical gain on the singletrack terrain will challenge all abilities. With the course configuration, you will pass through the full aid station 5 times.
The half-marathon is three laps around the course. With 1250'+ of vertical gain, it will be a challenging half-marathon but also a nice early-season challenge for a trail runner.
The 10k race starts with the "prologue" section of the course, effectively creating a 1.5 lap circuit. 550'+ of vertical features a few kicker climbs keeping the challenge for everyone.
The 5k is two laps of the "prologue" course. This run is fast, but the 270' of vertical includes two summits of the prologue kicker climb, keeping it a true trail run.
Event Description
We're throwing down at Forever Farm in Alburtis, PA this April! Fifth Street Rock Monster, formerly Rockland Rad Run, features awesome singletrack trails on private land accessible only on race weekend. We’re kicking off spring with a party in the woods. The tunes are fly, the food is fresh, and the beer will flow. Bring your friends and family to cheer you on as you tackle some of Pennsylvania’s finest technical trails. Choose your distance from 5K to a full marathon and discover the course as it unfurls through the rolling, rugged terrain – a technical tango with nature.
Rock Monster is held at Forever Farm on Sunday, April 12th, as part of a weekend of festivities which kicks off with the Fifth Street Rock Monster Mountain Bike races from 9am-3pm Saturday, April 11th.
We encourage you to come out and spectate Saturday, enjoy the amenities, and even get a scouting lap out on the course after the bike racing ends. Want to race both? Learn more here and make a weekend of it! Free camp sites available at Forever Farm Saturday night.
Registration Fees
Pricing is based on field size for each race. Register early to save on your entry! Junior runners aged 16 and under receive a 50% discount on their run fee. Pricing should be automatically calculated at registration, but please contact us if you do not see it take effect.
Day of Registration IS AVAILABLE +$20. We accept Venmo, Credit Card, and Cash payments.
Amenities
Porta Potties are available in the parking location and finish line—no public relief zones.
Please plan your pre-race ritual to include picking up your number.
After Race Festivities
Food and drink provided by our friends at Bright Path Brewing, PorchTea Kombucha
Runners get a free drink and a meal!
Prizes and Awards
Top 3 M/F - Overall awards for top 3 M/F runners in each race.
Relay Teams: $250, $150, $75 awarded for top three overall
Finisher award - All finishers will receive a commemorative FSX Rock Monster coaster.
Race Day Number Pick Up
Check-in Opens: 8:00am / Racing Starts: 9:00am / After party starts when the finishers come in! / Awards presented when categories are closed.
