If you are a team captain, there are two ways to create a team.  

If you will be registering for the Promise Run as a participant, during the registration process you can add yourself as an individual fundraiser.  When you add yourself as an individual fundraiser you will have an option to join a team or create a team.  Choose create a team and follow instructions.

If you will not be rigistering for the Promise Run as a participant, you can click on the Become a Fundriaser button on the homepage and add yoruself as an individual fundraiser.  You will be have an option to join a team or create a team.  Choose create a team and follow instructions.

Click here to become an individual fundraiser, and join or create a fundraising team. After you've registered for a race, go to the fundraising link and create an individual fundraising profile.  If you are joining an existing fundraising team go to the Team Fundraising section at the bottom of the link, click the down arrow under Join a Team Fundraiser and pick an existing team.  If you need to create a Team Fundraising team then click the button to "Yes" and follow the instructions to create the team.
Note: You do not need to register for an event to become an individual or team fundraiser.

Whe you register as a participant for the Promise Run you will be given an option to join a team.  Click on the teams button and then choose the fundraising team you would like to join.  If the team does not appear on the list, it may not have be created by the team captian.  Contact the team captain.

If you are not registering as a participatn for the PRomise Run, but would like to join a fundraising team, or if you have already registered as a participant, but did not join a fundraising team during the registration process, click the Become a Fundraiser button on the Promise Run home page and follow instructions.

The parking garages on Iowa Street and Main Street will be open and are free on the weekends. Iowa Garage is closest to the course start and finish line.

Each participant will receive a high quality performance shirt, race bib, "Running in honor of ______" bib and a commemorative medal.

Entries are non-refundable and non-transferrable. There are no exceptions.

Prohibited on the 5k race course are as follows:

• Bicycles
• Animals/Pets
• Skateboards
• Skates/Rollerblades

Prohibited on the 10k race course are as follows:

• All of the above
• Strollers/baby joggers/babies in carriers

*You will not need to register your child(ren), but they must stay in the stroller and can not be carried or ride on shoulders. Non-registered children will not receive a bib or finishers medal.

*All strollers must start at the back of the starting group

*Strollers can only pass other people in the crowd, if you are walking. Please do not run with a stroller.
