I, the undersigned, wish to participate in the above listed event or volunteer project. I understand that there are possible dangers associated with it, including, but not limited to, sun exposure, poisonous plants and animals, splinters, sprains, and falls. Participant acknowledges that there is inherent danger in outdoor activities such as trail maintenance and other volunteer work parties (including training therefor), running, hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, and disc golf and accepts these risks. Participant acknowledges that they are physically fit to participate 
in the event and its associated activities.  

I hereby hold and release harmless the Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation (PPFF) and its chapters, and the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, as well as the aforementioned entities’ officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever on account of loss, damage or injury to person (including death), or to property suffered or incurred by me not arising from the gross negligence of above stated and otherwise regardless of the cause thereof in connection with the event or any aspect of it, including, but not limited to, any transportation arranged or provided for. 

This release shall be binding upon me and my heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators, and assigns. If any provision of this Agreement is found invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall not be affected and shall not be enforced.
