What’s included with my registration?  

Registration for Run for the Zoo includes a limited-edition shirt, and participation in team and individual fundraising challenges with prizes. All registrations also include a participant medal with the 2026 Run for the Zoo logo, featuring the year’s animal theme. 

Materials for the virtual race will be available during packet pickup times (to be announced) at the zoo on Friday, May 29, and Saturday, May 30. If you elect to have your packets shipped, you will receive your materials after the May 31 race date.

You may submit your run times online until 11:59 p.m. CT on June 3.
 

I’m a first-time runner. Can I still participate?   

Of course! Run for the Zoo is open to all ages and experience levels, and is perfect for beginners as well as families and groups.  

What is the deadline to submit my time? 

Virtual race participants may submit their run times online until 12 p.m. CT on June 3.
