As always, we encourage everyone to use their best judgment when traveling. Please allow extra time, check local road conditions, and prioritize your safety as you make your way to and from Sullivan's Island.

The Charlie Post Classic 15K and 5K run and walk is the Charleston Running Club's signature winter event.

This run/walk honors the memory of Dr. Charlie Post, a well-known Charleston runner, triathlete, and family physician who volunteered his time and medical talents to the running community. Dr. Post was an active member of the Charleston Running Club, served as the head of the College of Charleston’s student health services, and was also the school’s team physician for varsity sports.

Our run and walk take place on USATF Certified Courses in beautiful Sullivan's Island, South Carolina. Proceeds benefit the Dr. Charlie Post Scholarship Fund at the College of Charleston, as well as the Charleston Animal Society and Sullivan's Island Fire and Rescue.
