The 5K starts and finishes on the track at Travelers Rest High School, and most of the race is on the paved Gold Line of the Swamp Rabbit Trail. It's designed for runners and walkers of all abilities, including first-timers.

• 5K runners: a New Year's 5K long-sleeve race shirt.
• Kids Half Mile: a fun, welcoming race-day experience, and every finisher gets their own moment crossing the finish line with a certificate.

• Top overall male and female finishers in the 5K
• Top three finishers in each age group category
• Every Kids Half Mile finisher receives a certificate

All registrations are managed through your RunSignUp profile. You can transfer your entry to another runner, switch between the 5K and Kids Half Mile, transfer to a different event, update your personal details, or manage add-ons and apparel, all without contacting us. All entries are final; we're unable to offer refunds or deferrals.

Do I need to register my child for the Kids Half Mile? Yes. Registering ahead of time helps us plan for every young runner on race day.
