Hello!
SIU Recreational Sports and Services (RSS) is thrilled to offer the sixth year of our sprint distance triathlon: The Saluki Triathlon! Whether you are an avid triathlete or a first-time competitor, we hope you enjoy competing on our beautiful campus while testing your abilities at swimming, cycling, and running.
The Saluki Triathlon consists of 0.2 miles of swimming, cycling, and running. Participants will begin with a 0.2 mi swim in SIU Campus Lake, transition to a five mile bike course hugging the south and west side of campus, and end the experience with a two mile run on SIU Campus Lake trail. The Saluki Triathlon is open to individuals of ages 12+. .
Competitors are required to bring their own bikes.
