One of our core values as an organization is the safety of our athletes and the community. With the recent updates and news about the Coronavirus, we want to share the measures that Dallas Athletes Racing is taking to ensure the well-being of our runners and triathletes.
St. Patrick’s Day Tri will switch to a virtual experience allowing our athletes to complete the triathlon on their own time before midnight April 24th. In an effort to keep the community engaged, we are offering a public Facebook group named Dallas Athletes Racing Community for athletes to share pictures and finish times. You can also report your results on RunSignUp race page by responding to the email you will receive. Packet pick had to be delayed but will be rescheduled when it is safe to get together. The opportunities to collect your swag and finisher's medal at our packet pick up locations will be posted on the race website.
As a thank you for your loyalty, we are extending an offer to St. Patrick’s Day Tri registered participants to transfer your race to any eligible 2020 DAR event taking place after May 10th, 2020. A credit up to (but not > than) your St. Patrick's Day Tri registration fee will be applied to your transfer. This link will give you the steps to transfer your race: (https://help.runsignup.com/support/solutions/articles/17000062923-transfer-to-another-race) you must make the transfer by April 15th at midnight. An email will follow on March 28th with instructions on how to upload your results for those who are participating virtually.
Our commitment to you remains as dedicated as ever. At this time, all other 2020 DAR events schedules are not affected. We are working with experts and government entities to offer a safe experience. We will continue monitoring this situation closely.
With endless information at everyone’s fingertips, we understand it can be tough to stay on top of the latest news and separate fact from fiction. We encourage you to stay calm and informed and do what we can to work together as a community to get through this difficult time.
