Triathlon: 500 yard swim; 15 mile bike; 3 mile run. Swim open water at Sylvan beach, bike on the flat, well-paved streets of Fairmont Parkway and Highway 146 and run along the streets adjacent to the water to Morgan’s Point.
Duathlon: 2 mile run; 15 mile bike; 3 mile run.

Triathlon & Duathlon: Overall Male and Female; Masters Male and Female; Three deep in the following age groups: under 15, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Over; Top 3 Overall Clydesdales & Athenas; Top 3 Masters Clydesdales and Athenas; Relay Teams: Top All Male, All Female and Mixed Team.
TRI TEAM CHALLENGE:
Register your team to race against other teams in a fun, competitive environment for cash prizes and a donation to the charity of your team’s choice as well! See if your team is the fastest in town. 1st Place Team: $300.00; 10 free entries into the 2016 Sylvan Beach Triathlon to defend your title.
2nd Place Team: $200.00; 5 free entries into the 2016 Sylvan Beach Triathlon.
3rd Place Team: $100.00; 3 free entries into the 2016 Sylvan Beach Triathlon.
Team with the Most Participants: $100 and 3 free entries into the 2016 Sylvan Beach Triathlon.

For an extra $5 fee, you can pick up your packet at the race site from 5 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. race day near the chip timing tent. Please select this option while you are registering on line.

KIDS’ CAMP
Ages 6-15
June 10-12
8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Learn how to swim, bike and run and then put those new skills to a test in the Sylvan Beach Kids’ Race. Included in the registration fee is an entry to the Sylvan Beach Kids’ Triathlon on June 13th.

Kids’ Camp will take place at the Little Cedar’s Bayou Park.

KIDS’ RACE

Race Distances:
Experience a real beach triathlon! Kids will swim along a well protected, shallow cove at Sylvan Beach, bike on nicely paved neighborhood streets and run on the boardwalk right on the edge of the beach.
Boys & Girls Age 6 -10 (age by 12/31/15) 100 meter swim; 2 mile bike; ½ mile run
Boys & Girls Age 11+ (age by 12/31/15) 200 meter swim; 4 mile bike; 1 mile run
Kids’ Race will take place at Sylvan Beach Park.

 Awards: 
Age Group Awards three deep in the following age groups: 6-7; 8-10; 11-13 and 13+. Every finisher will get a medal.
