Teal Diva is a Carolinas-based nonprofit founded by an ovarian cancer survivor and now recognized as a leader in the gynecologic cancer community across the region. Our mission centers on the emotional and mental well-being of women affected by ovarian and other gynecologic cancers through connection, community programming, and awareness.
Unlike research-focused organizations, Teal Diva concentrates on the human experience — providing support during active treatment, celebrating survivorship, honoring legacies, and creating meaningful opportunities for connection outside the clinic. We also work to educate women and families about the signs and symptoms of gynecologic cancers.
On Saturday, May 2, 2026, Teal Diva will host our annual 5k Run/Walk at McAlpine Park in Charlotte, NC. This is our largest event of the year and brings together survivors, families, care teams, healthcare professionals, and community partners. We anticipate approximately 1,000 attendees for a morning that balances celebration, remembrance, and awareness.
Proceeds from the event directly support our Yes Girl programs and quality-of-life initiatives serving women and families throughout the communities we reach.
