Description

Badizo means to run, walk, and go. Be active daily and consistently. Our mission is "Running to the World's Aid." This year, we are working with WhoLives to drill a well for a village. Freshwater brings tremendous benefits, including allowing children to attend school, better health, economic independence, increasing farm yields, and better sanitation.

With our events, you can work out at any location of your choice, regardless of where you find yourself. You're free to engage in any exercise you prefer. You can exercise when you want and as often as you like.

The year's event will be a three-event fitness program with a one-day free celebration event between each main event and a final event. We will track your activity on a map. The aim is to travel from Nairobi, Kenya to the quaint village of Kusa, Kenya, spanning a distance of 350 kilometers or 216 miles.

This year's Badizo event is unique. We want to give aid to a village and motivate you to exercise. Record your daily exercise time; every 10 minutes equals a kilometer, whether running, walking, biking, yoga, CrossFit, lifting weights, or any other activity. Consistency is the key. The race isn't to the swift but to those who keep going.

In summary: Three multi-day events with a free event at the end of each main event. Track your progress on a map from point A to B, to reach the village of Kusa, Kenya where a water well will be drilled for clean community water access.
