Be part of the great experience. Here are some comments from last year’s Colonial Beach Triathlon race.
"The staff were all great. But the residents of Colonial Beach…they were amazing! So many were out on the course, especially the run, cheering us on as we ran. It made the race so much more fun."

"1) After a two year absence from triathlons due to Covid and being an older athlete (72), it was the perfect tri to enter due to the flat bike and run routes. 2) I thought the swim start (one-at-a-time) was great! I hope it continues in future tri’s. 3) It was organized very well and the informational meetings and awards ceremony were just the right lengths."

"Well organized! Perfect time of year..the water was warm, just the way I like it. Good bike course. The watermelon at the post-race festivities was greatly appreciated!"

Time Trial Swim Start: Kinetic Multisports races utilize a time trial swim start. We'll start two (2) athletes at a time every few seconds. Athletes line up based on swim and overall finish times, faster up front, slower in the back to create a smoother race for everyone.
Elite Box Start: In conjunction with our time trial swim starts we are excited to announce the official addition of the Elite Box Start at select races. If you are in contention to get Top 20 Overall Male/Female or just want to race up front, this is for you. Simply work your way to the front of the swim start area on race day. We'll get you lined up and started first, then athletes two at time every few seconds thereafter. The Elite Box Start concept worked well at many races last year and we are excited to add this feature to more races.
