Twisted Trail 10k

ATTENTION**

The course will be changing this year. The plan is to still be at the New London Tech Trails. We are still working out the exact route at the moment, but will update this once we have the new course.

The course will run all three of the loops at the New London Technical Trails: Orange, Blue, and Green.
Turns will be marked with streamers and there will be course marshals at tricky points.
The trails are well-used, feature minimal trip hazards.
There will be two water stops along the course.

Turn by Turn Directions
Run the grassy road for roughly 0.5 miles
L onto Green Loop. Run the entire Green Loop (.75 miles)
L onto rocks/grass for less than .1 mile
L onto Blue Loop. The blue loop has been rerouted with the disc golf course, but it's clearly marked. (.8 miles)
Sharp R onto Orange Loop. There *may* be water here, cumulative distance 2.2 miles
Orange Loop for the rest of the race. Water/light aid at mile 4. After the water stop is where the race really begins. It is very fast to the finish!
Total Distance: Approximately 6.2 miles, possibly longer, possibly shorter.

Race Day Packet Pickup: 7:30 am - 8:45 am
Race Briefing: 8:45 am
Race Start: 9 am
Awards: ~10:30 am
All race-day events are located at the main trailhead

All preregistered runners will receive a gender-specific race t-shirt.

Age group awards will be given to the following:

• 1st, 2nd & 3rd Male and Female 
• 1st Male and Female Master (40+)
  And the Top 3 Finishers Per Gender in these Age Groups
• 14 and under
• 15 - 19
• 20 - 24
• 25 - 29
• 30 - 34
• 35 - 39
• 40 - 44
• 45 - 49
• 50 - 54
• 55 - 59
• 60 - 64
• 65 - 69
• 70 & Over

Early packet pickup will be on
Thursday April 30th at Gilbert Chiropractic in Salem
10-1 & 3-6pm 

Friday May 1st at Fleet Feet Roanoke

Race Day packet pickup will be from 7:30 am - 8:45 am at the main trailhead/race start.
