Charity Partner

The Charity Partner of the Annual Run The D.O.G. St. 5K race is Habitat for Humanity Peninsula & Greater Williamsburg!!

Since 1985, Habitat for Humanity Peninsula and Greater Williamsburg has been making the dream of affordable housing a reality for families in the cities of Hampton, Newport News, Poquoson and Williamsburg, plus the counties of Charles City, James City, New Kent and York. Throughout the years, we’ve built and sold over 235 homes and completed more than 500 critical home repairs, helping local families achieve stability and independence through affordable housing. None of this would be possible without the unwavering support of our community.

Homeownership is one of the most stabilizing forces in a community. Habitat's families do the work that supports our quality of life and our society. These families are the backbone of our community and economy.

Race proceeds will be used to build a Habitat home for an excited family in Williamsburg!

As we look to the future, we remain committed to continuing this important work and changing lives. Join us by making a donation today and help support affordable housing in our community.
