Rent, with LRC funds, a box truck or appropriate vehicle to haul equipment to the race site. You will be responsible for the truck from the time of rental until the equipment is returned to the storage units at the conclusion of the event.

For the BSP 5k, equipment will be loaded at 5:30 PM Thursday.

We run two teams for the BSP 5k:
• Team 1: Clear the course, loading 250 seven‑pound cones, and organize them by type for easy inventory.
• Team 2: Break down the finish area and post‑race operations.

We’re looking for folks who enjoy bringing order to the chaos — it’s all part of making race day magic happen, and organizing during teardown sets the team up for success for the next race. Caring for LRC equipment is a team effort, and a little thoughtfulness goes a long way. We'll sort everything into it's proper home, ready to shine at the next event.

This role does require some physical ability: lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly, reaching overhead, and climbing in and out of the box truck throughout the shift.

And yes—you’ll definitely earn your shower. Expect to get sweaty and a little dirty.
