Be the eyes and ears on the course for the race, and make sure that the participants all stay on course!!

Volunteers for LRC events must be at least 18 years of age unless they are under the supervision of their parent/guardian. Volunteerism is at the heart of everything we do as a club, and we want to foster that spirit of giving back among the youth of our community. There are opportunities for minors to assist and earn service hours at our races with their parents/guardians. Please contact races@lakelandrunnersclub.org to coordinate these assignments.

Join the fun out at the water stop! LRC will provide all supplies.

Details

3 person team - 1 truck driver, 1 cone dropper, 1 tape applicator.

The tape barrier is to remind runners to stay on the street and not cut over to the pedestrian path until instructed.

You can run the race and sign up for this task. You can run the race and fill this volunteer slot. The time slot extends into the race time so you get credit for the full time volunteered.

Details

Be the first to greet the runners when they finish their journey as they cross the finish line. Keep runners moving, get them some water, and distribute finisher medals.

2 volunteers to keep runners moving and out of traffic, 3 volunteers for medals, and 4 volunteers to assist with water and trash (2 volunteers will transition from the start corrals after the race starts to assist)
