Team Pre-Registration Table High Priority

Details

The Pre-Registration Table team will welcome participants to the event and serve as points of contact to check in pre-registered racers, hand out race bibs, t-shirts and race bags. The pre-registration tables will be three tables splitting the alphabet for ease of locating bibs and distributing bags/shirts. A spreadsheet with pre-registered racers will be available for each table. Shirts and bags will be separated so we can pull a bag and then the proper size shirt as we check in the runners.

Details

The Race Day Registration Table team will welcome participants to the event and serve as points of contact to register the day of racers, hand out race bibs, t-shirts and race bags. Please note the day of registration pricing will be updated and available for you on race day. Someone on your team will serve as the point person for obtaining payment for registration. We plan to have some extra bags and shirts to support the day of registrations, while supplies last!

Race Day Operations

Hydration Station Medium Priority

You must be 5 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Help keep our two and four legged runners hydrated at the mid-point hydration station! Cups for provided water jugs and bowls will be at a station for you to fill and offer to racers as they pass by. Help setting up and taking down the station will be needed as well as ensuring all trash is collected in local trash bin.

Team Raffle Table High Priority

You must be 21 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Team Raffle Table will be responsible for managing the raffle process. Two of your volunteer team members will have access to take payment for tickets both in cash and card payment forms. The raffle is a LARGE part of the 5k's success and our highest form of revenue for the day of the event. We will provide an outline of the raffle ticket prices as well as what is available for the raffle. We will have printed menus of the prizes and ticket prices to help guide you the day of.

Team Snack Table Low Priority

Team Floater

You must be 15 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Team Floater will be responsible for assisting in the moment where there is an immediate need. We have six main volunteer stations and will turn to you to run point in communication and address extra help where needed. This is a very important volunteer assignment as we need individuals who can help us ensure race operations run smoothly!

Vendor, Donation & Adoption Partner Support

Team Rescue Donation Intake Medium Priority

You must be 12 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Team Rescue Donation Intake will be responsible for managing the collection of donated items. A donation will qualify for 5 free raffle tickets. You will count the items donated by each person and distribute tickets accordingly. A separate color of tickets have been purchased for you so we are aware they were given out as a thank you for the donation.

Team Adoption Assistance Medium Priority

You must be 15 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

You will be tasked with filling up the dog water bowls and acting as a point person for the adoption group leaders. Please note, handle the adoptable dogs at your own risk and work with the partners on site to access how you can best lend a hand the day of the event. We will introduce you to our adoption partners the morning of!

Team Survivor Stories Booth Medium Priority

You must be 10 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Team Survivor Stories booth will be setup with a table and tent out in the vendor area to share the stories of your pups and their rescue journey! Feel free to bring photos, memory items and your pet to help share their story! This booth will place you in the same area as the vendors to share as much as possible, we will review more details the morning of!
