Emcee (During Race) High Priority

Emcee will be responsible for acknowledging sponsors, announcing start of races and lead the award ceremony

Course Marshall (During Race) (9:30 - 11:30, unless told by Sweeper that you can leave earlier.)

Details

Course Marshals are needed to line the course for the safety of participants and to cheer on the runners. Make your spot fun and festive if you wish. Be sure to shout for the runners as they go by!!

Timing Liaison (During Race) High Priority

Details

The liaison is responsible for checking in with the timer and running results to the emcee after each race.

Sweeper (During Race) High Priority

Details

This person will be behind the runners and making sure that the last runner is accounted for. Additionally, sweeper will communicate with course marshalls to let them know when to leave the post

Finish Line (During Race)

Details

Help pass out the medals to the children. Santa and Mrs. Claus will also be at the finish line to greet the children. There will also be goodie bags for the children to take. Monitor for any other issues that may arise.

Refreshment Table (During Race)
