Volunteers will aide pre-assigned athletes obtain their proper bib number and swim cap. Volunteers will also either verify USA Triathlon membership through a membership card/app or will assist the athlete's family in filling out the form.

Volunteers will be assigned to help the athletes prepare to enter the pool, make sure that the athletes are safe in the pool and may assist in directing the athletes were to exit the pool.

Volunteers will act as flaggers to ensure that the athletes feel safe while on course and that a visual "line-of-sight" is kept on bikers the entire course.
