Volunteers will all get a cool free race hoodie and will have fun, helping runners find their race bib number, and work together with other volunteers to efficiently distribute race bibs, shirts and pins!

Please arrive at 3:45 pm if you can! Not all volunteers need to stay until 7 pm. The busiest time will likely be from 4- 5:30, so consider volunteering if you can be there for that busy time!

Volunteers will all get a cool free race hoodie, have fun, work together efficiently, and help runners get their bib numbers, bibs, race shirts and pins!

Please arrive by 7:15 am at The Curragh. Most volunteers can leave at 8:30 to walk to Central Park and assist at the start and finish line. One volunteer please stay until 9:10 am for any late arrivals at packet pickup.

Start and Finish Line! High Priority

Details

Start and Finish Line Volunteers all get a free cool race hoodie, and will help coordinate the Wee Chase, with at least one volunteer stationed at the turn around cone for each race, and will offer encouragement to the little runners!

Then, afte the Wee Chase, Volunteers will line up in the start corral for the 5k, lining up about 20 meters apart, with each Volunteer holding up a Pace Sign (7min mile, 8 min mile, 9, 10, 11, 12, and Walker) so runners know where to position themselves.

After the start, volunteers will set up finish line (same as start line) to hand out water, donut holes, and finisher medals)

Course Marshals High Priority

You must be 13-100 years old to volunteer for this task.

Course Marshals volunteers all get a cool race hoodie and will help direct runners to stay on course!

Race set up! High Priority

You must be 13-100 years old to volunteer for this task.

Details

All volunteers get a cool hoodie! Race set up crew will assist in setting up cones, flags, and tables near the start and finish line, for medals, treats and water!

Location

On Central Ave near intersection with 10th Street at Centennial Park

Takedown of all race items including cones, flags and tables High Priority

You must be 13-100 years old to volunteer for this task.

Details

All volunteers get a cool hoodie! Volunteers will take down everything and leave Central Avenue looking better than before the race! Takedown from 10 am until completion (11-11:30 am likely)

Water Station- fill and hand out cups of water High Priority

You must be 13-100 years old to volunteer for this task.

Details

Volunteers will fill cups of water, make available on table, enthusiastically cheer on runners, make trash bag/box available and monitor it, and be sure to pick up all cups afterputting in trash bag. Needed from 8:30 am to 10 am.

Location

Water Station will be at entrance to Window on Waterfront at corner of Columbia and 4th Street.
