This is a critical position for the participants! You will be located strategically throughout the course at points that may mix up runners. Your role is to ensure runners stay on course, stay safe, and have fun!

These locations will be located within the first 6.5 miles of the Full & Half and first 3 miles of the 10K. Times needed will vary based on location but will be generally be from 6:45am to 10:15am.

These course monitors are primarily in the Winchell neighborhood and along South St and Stadium Dr.

Individuals interested who are younger than 18 need a sponsor volunteer who is 18 or older to sign up with them.

You will be provided a t-shirt and expected to attend a brief training prior to the event.

Location

First 6.5 miles of the Full & Half and first 3 miles of the 10K.

Course Monitor - Full & Half, miles 6.5 - 11.5 High Priority

These course monitors are primarily along Oakland Dr, Bronson Blvd and in the Westnedge neighborhood to Burdick St.

These course monitors are primarily along Oakland Dr and in the Vine neighborhood.

You will be provided a t-shirt and expected to attend a brief training prior to the event.

These locations will be located from miles 11.5 to 20 of the Full Marathon. Times needed will vary based on location but will be generally be from 7:45am to 12:15am.

These course monitors are primarily along the Portage Bicentennial Creek Trail, Lovers Lane, and Romance Dr. all in Portage.

Individuals interested who are younger than 18 need a sponsor volunteer who is 18 or older to sign up with them.

You will be provided a t-shirt and expected to attend a brief training prior to the event.

Full only, miles 11.5 - 20 (Portage)

Course Monitor - Full, miles 20 - 25.5 (Kalamazoo) High Priority

These course monitors will be in the Milwood and Edison neighborhood.

Individuals interested who are younger than 18 need a sponsor volunteer who is 18 or older to sign up with them.

You will be provided a t-shirt and expected to attend a brief training prior to the event.

Full only, miles 20 - 25.5 (Kalamazoo)

Course Monitor - 5K, miles 0.4 - 1.8 Medium Priority

These locations will be located on the 5K course from miles 0.4 - 1.8 before it meets up with the 10K and Half. Times needed will vary based on location but will be generally be from 8:15am to 9:55am.

These course monitors will be in the Vine neighborhood.

Individuals interested who are younger than 18 need a sponsor volunteer who is 18 or older to sign up with them.

You will be provided a t-shirt and expected to attend a brief training prior to the event.

5K Course in Vine, miles 0.4 - 1.8

Course Monitor - Half, 10K, 5K - Vine Neighborhood High Priority

These locations will be located where the Half, 10K and 5K courses all meet. Times needed will vary based on location but will be generally be from 8:15am to 12:15pm.

These course monitors will be in the Vine neighborhood and on Burdick St. downtown. They will be on the course where all three courses meet and head to the finish line!

Individuals interested who are younger than 18 need a sponsor volunteer who is 18 or older to sign up with them.

You will be provided a t-shirt and expected to attend a brief training prior to the event.
