Your task may be to check in athletes, pass out participant shirts, pass out swag bags or other tasks needed. Please plan to help set up and tear down.

Assist athletes in transition with where to go. Make sure all helmets are on before leaving transition. Ensure all non athletes stay out of transition. Check bikes as athletes check out of transition. Tear down and clean up of the transition area.

Run Course Support Medium Priority

Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled times. Exact placements will be made a week prior to the event and will be emailed out. Please send a text message to 864-991-2877 when you have arrived. You will be cheering athletes on and ensure they are going in the proper direction at all times. Making sure they are not missing any turns.

Run Aid Station High Priority

January 25, 2026

Details

Help runners with nutrition and hydration needs on the run course. Passing out water, helping give nutrition, GU packets and other tasks as needed.

Please arrive 10 minutes before shift time. You do not need to check in at ground zero first, but can go directly to your aid station. However, please send a message to the volunteer coordinator letting her know you are there at 864-991-2877. The aid station box with all the materials as well as a table will be delivered to location. Please set up the table using the instructions in the box and tear down table when it is time to break down. Race staff will pick up the table and aid station box. You may park on the side of the road near the location.

Participants will receive the following as a thank you:

Sprint Bike Turnaround Medium Priority

Details

Stand at intersection to direct traffic and monitor safety of riders. Make sure riders turnaround as directed.

Get to location by shift start time. There is no need to go to the race venue first, but please send a message to our volunteer coordinator letting her know you are there. You can then park your vehicle on the side of the road by your location. When you are done with your shift, please send a message to the volunteer coordinator letting her know you are taking off. Please text coordinator at 864-991-2877.
