Details

Volunteer(s) will put together sponsor giveaways & check in pre- registered participants the week before the event. You'll check them in and give them their t-shirt and bib. We will be set up for packet pick up at Truist Baseball Field. We will have a lane for you to park in for the day. Additional details will be sent out closer to the event.

iPads will be used with the RunSignUp app to mark off registered participants. We will give you a lesson on using the iPad and checking in prior to your shift.

We split shifts into 1/2 days. If you can do a full day, feel free to choose more than one slot! 8:30am - 12:30 and 12:30 - 5:00pm are the two options.

Early Packet Pick Up Evening Before Walk @ Truist Field

Details

Volunteer will check in pre- registered participants and give them their t-shirt and bib.

Please arrive at 4:00pm to help with setting up shirts and organizing the area. We are offering this Early Packet Pick Up from 5pm-9pm the night before. Volunteers will clean up the area and should be done by 9:30pm.

Packet Pick Up - Morning of Walk @ Truist Field

Please arrive at 8:00am to help with setting up and organizing the area. Gates open for registration at 8:30am and all participants should be done checking in by 10:00am. Volunteers will clean up the area and should be done by 10:30am.

Day of Event

Cupcake Tables

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Volunteer will assist bakeries the morning of the event and give out mini cupcakes.

Please arrive by 8:00am to help bakery with setting up and organizing their area. Gates open for registration at 8:30am. Participants may be allowed to start the Cupcake Run/ Walk as early as 8:30am. Volunteers will help clean up the bakery area and should be done by 11:15am.

Directional Help

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Volunteer will assist guests arriving from outside of Truist Field. Help point them towards parking and showing them the main entry into the baseball field for the morning's events.

Please arrive by 8:15am. Check in just inside the main entrance and go to your designated corner to direct guests arriving by 8:30am. This position should be done by 10:00am as all participants should be in and walking the field by then!

Entry to Field/ Event Start

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Volunteer will assist guests get onto the field for the run/walk. After they have picked up their t-shirt and bib they will be pointed in your direction.
- Volunteer A = When we give the 'go-ahead' you'll be able to let participants down the steps.
-Volunteer B -= As they come down the steps and onto the field, you'll point them towards the bakery tables.

Please arrive by 8:00am to get into place. Check in just inside the main entrance of Truist with us. This position should be done by 10:10am...as the last person exits the concourse and goes onto the field for the walk/ run.

Exit of Field/ Event Finish

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Volunteer will assist guests off of the field from the run/walk. After they have made their four laps around the warning track of the baseball field + received four mini cupcakes, they will leave the field.
- Volunteer A = Stand at bottom of steps (on field) to show participants where to exit the field to go back up to concourse.
-Volunteer B -= As they come up the steps and onto the concourse, you'll point them towards seating, restrooms, live music and the presentation from WBTV and GoJenGo.

Please arrive by 8:00am to get into place. Check in just inside the main entrance of Truist with us. This position should be done before 11:00am...as the last person exits the field.

Elevator Liaison

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Volunteer will assist guests arriving who are in a wheel chair and can not use the stairs leading to the field for the event. Guide them from the elevator to the field. Signs will also be posted for ease.

Please arrive by 8:30am. Check in just inside the main entrance with us and we will who's you to the elevator. This position should be done by 11:00am. Guests may need assistance on and off the elevator after presentation.

Water Table

You must be 13 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Water Table Volunteer will either be at the entry to field or exit of field. Participants will have the opportunity to grab a water before or after they walk/ run the field for cupcakes.

Please arrive at 8:00am to help with setting up and organizing the areas. We will ask that you pop up an 8' table and start putting bottled waters on the tables - disposing of the packaging. We will supply you with a trash can.

Gates open for registration at 9:00am and all participants should be done with entry to the field by 10:15am and exit of the field by 11:00am. Volunteers are asked to clean up the area and should be done by 11:00am.
