Details

Course volunteers help to make the event safe and fun for all of our participants. Volunteers are stationed along the course in vital positions helping to direct and cheer on runners!

Location

Please check in at the Blue Full Send Volunteer Check In Tent located behind the bleachers at UNCW. You will receive your volunteer shirt, safety vest and course location and instructions.

5K Race Village (Reserved for YMCA and EMERGEORTHO Staff)

Race village volunteers are in the middle of all the action! There are a variety of tasks in the race village that we may ask you to jump into that morning including food station, medal hander outters, or packet pickup!
Race Village workers will be on site from 6:30 am to 10:00am.

Grab your friends and family members are invited to volunteer at the aid station/water stop. Help make this station fun & festive for our 5k runners!
You are encouraged to check in and pick up your volunteer shirt at the EmergeOrthooffice at 3787 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28403
Thursday - 3PM - 6PM OR Friday 3PM - 6PM

Location

Your water station is on Wagnor Drive across for Kenan Auditorium. You may park in the Kenan lot and just walk across to your water stop. We have 1400 participants so plan to be busy and probably get a little wet! Please go directly to your water station at 7:30 and start filling up water cups. You should have about 750 water cups prefilled before the first runners pass your location at 8:35.

(If you do not pick up your shirt at packet pick up at EmergeOrtho during volunteer check, we suggest coming by the volunteer tent at the track to pick up your shirt prior to going to your water station.)

Your water station is located on Price Drive in front of Price Lot 2 (Look for the Cameron School of Business Sign) You may park in the lot adjacent to the water station. We have 1200 participants so plan to be busy and probably get a little wet! Please go directly to your water station at 7:30 and start filling up water cups. About 750 water cups should be prefilled before the first runners pass your location at 8:40.

(If you do not pick up your shirt at packet pick up at EmergeOrtho during volunteer check, we suggest coming by the volunteer tent at the track to pick up your shirt prior to going to your water station.)
