Experience the best of Lake Arthur at the Moraine Regatta 5K on Sunday, August 2, 2026! Whether you’re chasing a personal best or taking a scenic morning stroll with the family, this timed race offers an unbeatable course through the lush Sunken Garden Trail.

As part of the annual Moraine State Park Regatta, your participation supports our mission to promote eco-recreation and preserve the natural beauty of our park. After you cross the finish line, stay for the full Regatta experience—featuring local vendors, water sports, and nature-themed activities for all ages.

Parking

Pleasant Valley Beach, South Shore Parking is easy and free! Follow the "Moraine State Park Regatta" and "Moraine Regatta 5k" signs to the main Pleasant Valley Beach parking lot.

Race Details 

New for 2026, we're using the course from the Winterfest 5k. This course starts at the Pleasant Valley Beach area parking lot, then goes onto the Sunken Garden Trail to see gorgeous views of the lake, and then back towards the main regatta area. The 5k is a combination road and trail race.

We celebrate speed across every generation! Awards will be presented to the top male and female finishers in the following age brackets:

Event Schedule - August 2

• 7:30 AM: Packet Pickup opens at the Information Tent.
• 8:30 AM: Race Start.
• 10:00 AM: Awards Ceremony at the Main Stage.

Is race-day registration available?

We strongly recommend registering early in order to get your size t-shirt, but if you're more of a last-minute person, we can accommodate race-day registration.
