Race morning Volunteers assist with athletes greeting (great to see a smiling face in the morning!), body marking, packet pick-up, chip distribution, swim cap distribution, and shirt distribution.

At Night Heron Park Pavilion; Subject to Change

Swim Exit Volunteer High Priority

You must be 12 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Swim Exit Volunteers help with crowd control at the swim exit and point the athletes in the direction of the boardwalk to get to the Transition area.

Location

On the beach or boardwalk at Boardwalk 18, adjacent ot Night Heron Park.

Bike Course Monitor High Priority

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Bike course monitors will be pointing participants in the correct direction on the race course. Deputies are present on the course to direct traffic.

Location

A specific post will be assigned to you.

Run Course Monitor Medium Priority

You must be 13 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Run Course monitors are on the course to keep athletes going in the correct direction, cheer them on, and assist our course crew in identifying any issues on the course with the course or a participant.

Location

You will be assigned a specific location on the run course.

Aid Station High Priority

You must be 12 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Aid station volunteers fuel our participants, both with water and sports drinks, but also with words of encouragement!

Location

You will be assigned an aid laoction.

Finish Line Volunteer High Priority

You must be 12 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Finish Line volunteers will be working the water station, removing chips from participants, presenting medals, and handing out cold cloths to the athletes, as well as providing crowd control.
